The year was 1979 we were on a regular bus, and my father said to me, “Son, something very interesting is going to happen today. An object called Skylab will enter the sky and leave a trail of light. If we’re lucky to see it, pay close attention to the sky.” I spent the entire night of that trip gazing through the window, admiring the amazing dark winter sky in Brazil, with shining stars and city lights far away on the horizon. In the morning, when I asked my dad, he mentioned that he heard on the radio that Skylab had fallen into the ocean.

  • Thanks for this article. I’d also like to mention that it can often be hard if you are in school and simply starting out to initiate a long credit standing. There are many students who are just simply trying to make it through and have an extended or positive credit history can be a difficult point to have.
